TickPlay Privacy

TickPlay runs entirely on your Apple Watch. This page summarises what that means in practice and links to the full policy document.

In short: TickPlay runs entirely on your Apple Watch. It does not collect, store, transmit or share personal information, and it does not include advertising, analytics, tracking or third-party SDKs.

Information the app does not collect

TickPlay does not collect, store, transmit or share any personal information. In particular it does not collect:

  • Name, email address, phone number or other contact details
  • Location data
  • Health or fitness data
  • Device identifiers or advertising identifiers
  • Usage analytics or crash reports, unless you independently opt in to sharing diagnostics with Apple

Data stored on your device

Settings and preferences you configure are stored locally on your Apple Watch only. This data never leaves the device and is not accessible to the developer. Deleting the app removes all of its local data.

  • App settings and preferences
  • Your transferred audio and video files
  • Playback position and queue state

Third-party services

The app does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising or tracking services, and it does not share information with third parties.

Network access

Network access is used only for the local Wi-Fi file transfer you start yourself. TickPlay does not send data to any server, and it does not require an internet connection to play files that are already on the watch.

Children's privacy

The app does not collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13 or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction.

Changes to the policy

The privacy policy may be updated from time to time. Changes are posted with a new effective date, and continued use of the app after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

What this means for transfers

Network access is used only for the local Wi-Fi transfer you start yourself. Files move from your computer to your watch over your own network — they are not routed through a server operated by the developer, and they are never uploaded to cloud storage. See the Wi-Fi transfer page for how that works.
