Lyrics
- LRC — Timed lyric file. Loads automatically from a file with the same name as the track. UTF-8 and GB18030 encodings.
Transfer and storage only
Files in other containers can be transferred to the watch and stored, but TickPlay will not play them. This is why the format list on this site separates 'plays' from 'stores only'.
Examples: MKV, AVI, WMV, WebM, TS, FLV, and other containers.
Storage
- On-watch storage with a quota of 500 MB, 1 GB or 2 GB, chosen in Settings.
- Automatic cleanup after playback, plus manual cache clearing.
- Every file is integrity-checked on arrival and flagged if it is incomplete.
Playback
- Background audio continues after you leave the app or lower your wrist.
- Playlist loop, shuffle and repeat-one.
- Variable speed from 0.5x to 2.0x with a long-press picker.
- Resume from the exact position you stopped at.
- Full-screen video, then back to audio without a restart.
Controls
- Digital Crown seeking with a live progress bar.
- Plus or minus 15 second skip buttons.
- Tap the artwork for lyrics; tap the screen for full-screen video.
- A dedicated volume screen driven by the crown.
- Swipe between the four tabs: Play, Library, Download and Settings.
